About Singulart

Singulart is an online art gallery, based in Paris, that connects contemporary artists with collectors around the world. We represent over 9,000 artists from 117 countries — painters, photographers, sculptors, and printmakers — and we curate and present original artworks, making it easier to discover, buy, and sell art globally.

Our mission

Our mission

A purpose that's guided every decision since 2017 — connecting artists and collectors with fairness and transparency.

We believe the art market should be open to everyone. That means giving artists from over 100 countries the tools to build sustainable careers, and giving collectors worldwide access to thousands of original works — paintings, sculptures, photography, and prints — with clear pricing, certificates of authenticity, and buyer protection on every purchase.

The traditional art market has long been driven by gallery relationships and insider access. We set out to change that. Our editorial team curates every artist and artwork on the platform, so that every piece you discover has been reviewed for quality and authenticity before it reaches you.

Our goal is simple: to be the platform that artists and collectors trust most — earned through fairness, transparency, and a genuine commitment to making the art world more open for everyone.

Our story

Our story

From a Paris loft to a global community of artists and collectors — here's how Singulart came to be.

Singulart was founded in 2017 in Paris by Denis Fayolle, Vera Kempf, and Brice Lecompte, with a simple idea: to make the art market more accessible and fair.

At the time, the art world was still largely fragmented and organised along national lines. Many artists struggled to reach audiences beyond their local markets, while collectors had limited access to discover international talent.

The idea began with a chance meeting between Vera Kempf and Denis Fayolle at a Startup Weekend event. What started as a conversation quickly evolved into a shared vision to build something new in the art industry. Brice Lecompte later joined the team, bringing complementary expertise to shape the platform.

From the beginning, Singulart set out to connect artists and collectors across borders — giving artists a global stage and making it easier for collectors to discover original work from around the world. Today, that vision continues to guide everything we do.
