There are things the body knows before the mind catches up. A urgency. A need to move fast, to commit completely, to not go back. My paintings come from that place - made in single sessions, unrepeatable, built from physical intensity rather than deliberate composition.
I work in acrylics on large-format canvas. Thick paint, raw pigment, sand, paste. Materials that resist, that hold the mark, that remember the gesture. The surface accumulates - it doesn’t illustrate.
The work began as a way to translate what couldn’t be spoken. Not therapy. Not documentation. Something more primitive than either - the body finding form before language arrives.
Based in Paris. Working in large and very large formats. Originals only.
