About this artwork
What lies beyond the limits of our gaze? "Infinite Horizons" is a visual journey that explores the boundaries of perception, moving freely between the immensity of the cosmos and the depths of the human soul.
In this collection, infinity is not only a physical space made of galaxies, planets, and starry skies, but also an interior dimension guided by the harmony and invisible energy that moves the universe. This profound connection is manifested… through two elements: the dreamlike abstraction of nature and the vibratory power of music. The works thus fluctuate between the mystical silence of space—where spiritual symbols and human silhouettes contemplate the absolute—and pure synesthesia, where sound takes shape. This work, catalogued and certified by art critics and stoics, was selected and exhibited at the Anthological Exhibition held at the institutional space Ex Stac Catanzaro, November 11, 2023. #Cubism #PopArt #GeometricSurrealism
Luigia Boccalone primarily uses acrylic on canvas and has a solid artistic background developed in her father's architecture studio, further enhanced by studies at the Catanzaro Art School. Her technique draws on abstract informal art and an intuitive style, in which free gestures create galaxies, imaginary landscapes, and dreamlike flourishes of naive inspiration. Her works convey a sense of infinite freedom and invite the viewer to lose themselves in the nuances of dreamy and mysterious worlds.
