This work is an original creation.
She represents a young woman of our time. Her look and hairstyle are very much of our era, all set against a textured, colorful and abstract background, evoking modernity.
I used brushes to translate the fineness of the face, which contrasts with the background worked with knives.
It's a pleasure to achieve beautiful blends with a palette knife, directly on the canvas, working the material by layering several… coats of paint. That's what I find so captivating when I work on a canvas.
